Confused, not sure if it is from the D&C.?

By pregnantnews

I had a D&C on June 2 to have a uterine polyp removed. My period is never late the only time it has been when I’ve been pregnant. I’ve never had a D&C done before. I’m only two days late, but for the past 5-6 days I’ve been cramping like I’m going to start yet nothing happens. Has anyone had issues with their cycle being messed up after a D&C? I know I should take a test, but we’ve been trying for almost 2 years for our second miracle and it took us 7 years for our first miracle, just don’t want to be disappointed. Thanks in advance for your help!!
I came here to ask a question about D&C, not to be told I’m selfish bout trying to have more children. Only people who have dealt with infertility first hand know what it feels like. If we are blessed with another child that is what the Lord has chosen for us or if choose adoption. My thoughts and prayers are with any couple that has had to endure this heartbreaking disease such as infertility. Baby dust storms to you all!!!

It’s the way Jesus wants it. <3

It is very possible that the D&C is affecting when you should start your menses. I would contact the doctor and just be sure.

Hey, don’t be too offended… “Jeff” has been copying and pasting that answer to many women in the pregnancy section – even to questions that don’t apply to his stupid remark.

and yes, your period can be slightly irregular after a D&C. I wouldn’t think too much about it quite yet. If you’re concerned though, wouldn’t hurt to give the nurse a quick call. :)
