Incredibly faint, almost invisible line on pregnancy test?
ByI took a pregnancy test because my period is a week late at this point and there was a very, very slight line on the pregnant side immediately after testing. It didn’t appear to be blue like the control. It was tiny so it’s hard to say, but it almost looked like a shadow. I bought a more expensive, digital test to take in the morning, but until then, is it possible that I may be pregnant? My breasts are not sore, I’ve not been feeling “cramps,” but I’ve been experiencing heartburn, pangs of pain in the uterine area, an increase in gag reflex sensitivity, and occasional (but not in the mornings) nausea.
I’ve taken pregnancy tests before and never seen this line, however it just may be that I was looking harder at it and deceiving myself?
I just took another test from the same store-brand package and there was no line. Hmmmm!

take the guess work out of it and spend 13 bucks for a “digital” test…. no lines, just a simple “pregnant” or “not pregnant” Good Luck!
No, not “any line” is a positive as stated below (ie evap lines). I am not saying you are not pregnant because I actually think you are…BUT maybe you should check out peeonastick.com They have a ton of great info about hpts.

A faint positive is still a positive, it said so on my pregnancy test box. You could definitely be pregnant as not all women experience the same symptoms, and some don’t get any at all.

well that was the case with my pregnancy now.. there was a VERY light line.. almost not there.. but sure enough i was pregnant.. it just might be really early for you.. dont stress out about it.. you might just need a blood pregnancy test.. they are way more positive with an early pregnancy..

You’re not deceiving yourself at all. It doesn’t matter how faint it is, if you can see an outline or just anything that’s vertical then it’s a positive, and you’re pregnant. The only reason it’s so light is because your hormone level is low. Take a pregnancy test in the morning because that’s when your hormone level is high and you’ll be able to see the line more.

It’s very like that you are pregnant, but obviously, just to be sure, take the new test in the morning, and make sure that it’s your first pee of the day that you use for it, as this will contain a higher concentration of the pregnancy hormone, if indeed it is present.
And remember, you’ve got options!

Pregnant.. this happened to me in this pregnancy with 2 tests.. I don’t really trust those digital ones though…I’d go with another old fashioned one.. but with your first morning urine… I think Congratulations are in order for you though… any hint of a line is a positive… ♥
