Have you ever met a stay-at-home Dad?
ByDo they exist? Or are they only the stuff of Legend?
I’m not talking about Dads that work from home. I’m talking about Dads that do not work and stay home taking care of the kids. The “house husband” scenario.

My husband is a stay at home dad, and he is great at it. Except the house isnt always as clean as I would like it to be when I get there, but the kids are both still alive and homework is done so, I appreciate the big stuff.

I know 2. It’s not many but they do exist. They only appear if you believe in them. Like the Easter bunny, or Santa.

While i was working, my boyfriend was staying at home and watching the children and taking care of the whole house… laundry, dishes, baths, etc. It was soooo nice! Now he is working and i’m doing the stay at home mom thing! (he got a good job and i was laid off from mine)

I had a neighbor who was a stay at home dad. From what I could tell, he was very active with his three little ones. He always expressed feeling guilty about it because his wife was both working and going to school. Don’t know how he was with the cooking and cleaning but he sure was great with his kids.

My dad was a stay at home dad off and on throughout my baby/pre-school years. He has confessed to me as of late that it was hard at times not doing something else and not being around any other adults but he was loving and I think I benefited from it.

My dad was a stay at home till I was 10.
I know a partial stay at home dad. He works evenings part time so he does all the school stuff, cleaning, cooking etc. That counts, right?
My husband is a stay at home parent- he works from home, so he pitches in as much as I do (well, almost as much…)
It’s all how you look at it.

I’ve met one.He took care of the kids while his wife brought in the dough because she made more money than him and was more successful. One of his kids had autism so he really needed to be there for emotional support. He was so sweet and somewhat feminine. He could sit with the girls at my daughters gym class and talk about feminine stuff for more than an hour lol.He was really hott for an older man too!So yea, they exist.

Yes. My friends dad was a stay at home dad. She never even saw her mom until she was about 13 years old. Her mom was very busy with her career when she was growing up. Her dad did the cleaning, cooking, and disciplining.
