I recently started working from home as a dispatcher for my Dad’s road side assistance business. He pays me a salary every month and I use the $ either on things I’d like to buy for the boys or date night with my husband. If you want to work a little there are so many things you can do from home. I work as a dispatcher but I also host a parent survival night once every 3 months. I plan a kids party and invite friends and family. The catch is I charge $10 (per child for siblings)-$15 per child to attend. $25 per child for a slumber party. I theme the party, glow in the dark dance party, Hawaiian lo owe etc. (I get the decorations from the dollar store.) The party lasts 4-5 hours. Which is just enough time for the parents to go out to dinner or a movie, or both if they plan it well. The kids have such a great time they always want to participate and the parents are grateful to get out for a date night and not have to worry about their kids. If a lot of people RSVP I pay my niece $20 to help me out for the evening leading games etc. It is easy to contain all the children because they entertain each other. I will usually make about $200.00 per party. Then I save my $ to fund our family outings to the zoos and things like that.
With summer comming up you could baby sit a little.

I am essentially a stay-at-home mom, but to help supplement my husband’s income I deliver newspapers in the early morning.
I get to be home with my boys during the day, but still contribute to my family’s finances.
