Is “The Vaccine Book” by Dr. Sears good for someone who firmly believes in vaccinating their child?
ByI am looking for literature on vaccines that is not simply anti-vaccine because I do strongly believe in vaccinating children.
Would this be a good book for me to get? Does anyone else have this?
I am not interested in anti-vaccination rants, I simply am asking about this book, I firmly believe children should be vaccinated – I am interested in learning about spacing them out and Dr Sears vaccine schedule.

I’m on the wait list for it at the library, but from what I understand it provides a modified vaccination schedule — postponing some vaccines until the child’s body and immune system is more mature instead of giving a ton of them in a short period of time as has been traditionally done.

They will give you literature at the doctors proporting how good they are, but will not tell the whole story. Check out http://www.thinktwice.com it gives tons of information and also outside links. And PLEASE check out EVERYTHING with these vaccines. Once they are in your children, you can’t take them back out. You can wait and decide to do them later. Most pro-vaccine places will not tell you the ingredients in the vaccines. I know that you wouldn’t let your child touch antifreeze and then put their fingers in their mouth, same with formalin and aborted fetal tissue and many other poisons, but this is what is in the vaccines. If you simply MUST do this, make them split the vaccines up. They are giving all these diseases at the same time. Just think about trying to fight off a cold and a stomach flu at the same time, it would be tough. The “cocktail” of shots sometimes gives your child 8 diseases to fight off at the same time. Not 8 shots, but they are combined. That’s pretty tough on a little body system (big body too) and they aren’t colds. Everyone runs scared from the sound of measles, but this is actually what they are injecting. I believed in them too until I found out what other stuff they are putting in them and the side effects it causes. I think 2 weeks of a childhood disease is much better than a lifetime of an adverse reaction.

I think it is a good book. My daughter is getting all her vaccines, but spaced out.
There is no aborted fetal tissue in vaccines, It’s an exaggerated rumour. They are cell cultures, like bateria cultures, taken from two pregnancies that stopped in the 1960’s.
The altered virusus have to grow on something, and they grow on cell cultures… like the bacteria that make my insulin grow. None of the cell culture is in the vaccine, as it would be the same as an organ transplant.
Research everything, from all angles.
