Very sad, think I am loosing my baby…?

By pregnantnews

I am 6 weeks pregnant after trying for 14 months with PCOS and on clomid. I am having sharp stabbing pains in my left side on and off, no bleeding. my hcg levels were 330 on Tuesday which the ob gyn said were too low. I was admitted to hospital on Monday evening and they did a scan on Tues morn but couldnt see anything etiher in my womb or tube. They say it is too small to be seen at the mo wherever it is. I think they were trying to tell me that it may be ectopic, and if not that, it isnt a viable pregnancy because my low levels show very little development. The sharp stabbing pains have eased quite a bit over the last couple of days when I have been resting. Can anyone prepare me for what will happen, or give me any sucess stories about going on to conceive after a miscarriage. I cant believe it, I am so sad and desperately hoping they find my little baby on the next scan this monday. Am I kidding myself or could that still happen? xxx

Did they offer to give you some hormone injections?

I had a miscarriage around 8 or 9 weeks, and after getting checked at the OBGYN’s office I went straight home and started trying again. Dr said it was just fine. So we conceived that very next month and I delivered a baby boy nine months later.

You can conceive! Go on a baby moon! Just relax and enjoy yourself and your husband….deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth………see yourself dropping an egg down into the uterus fertilized by a sperm and watch the baby grow inside of you, think healthy thoughts and strong uterus.

Well, Sharp pains on one side are definitely not a good thing, BUT, it is still possible for everything to be ok at this point. You are not bleeding so that is good! I had similar pains and some bleeding when I was 12 weeks with this pregnancy and the E.R. said that they were pretty sure I had a cyst that ruptured on my ovary. The pain I had was really, really low, but pretty sharp, hurt really bad when they pressed on that side. Unfortunately I have no way to try to prepare you for what will come as I have no clue what the problem is. It is also possible to become pregnant after a miscarriage as I have had 2 and each time I have gotten pregnant 6 months after the miscarriage. Hang in there, and try to remember stress won’t help the situation at all. I truly wish you the best of luck :)
